Kristin W. Diver
Kristin has over ten years of business experience in operations, human resources, marketing and PR. She rose from graduate student assistant to Assistant Director of the Economic Forecasting Center at the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University, an organization founded by Prof. Donald Ratacjack in 1973. Under the supervision of the current director, Prof. Rajeev Dhawan, she managed the Center's resources, superivsed the production of the Center's quarterly forcast reports, coordinated quarterly conferences and events, and gave speeches on Georgia economy to local business groups. During her six-year tenure at the Center, she specialized in the local Georgia and Atlanta economy, collecting, analyzing and writing the entire Forecast of Georgia and Atlanta report.
While completing her MBA, Kristin free-lanced as a Spanish Medical and Legal Interpreter, spending time in court and at hospitals interpreting and translating for limited-English proficient clients. She served on the board of the Medical Interpreter Network of Georgia (MING) for over three years and helped organize their annual Fall Forums.
Prior to joining the Center, Kristin worked in international business for three years at BioLab, Inc, (now Chemtura), a pool chemical manufacturer with sales in Latin America, Europe and the Middle East. As a Business Analyst for the international division, Kristin was reponsible for troubleshooting shipping and order issues with foreign clients.
A graduate of Emory University with a B.A. in International Relations and German, Ms. Diver also received her MBA in International Business and Marketing from Georgia State University. She was raised in Puerto Rico, has lived in Europe for two years and is fluent in Spanish, French and German.
