Adolfo Prieto
Adolfo started his professional career at
The Coca-Cola Company
, where he worked for over seven years, serving in roles of increasing responsibility in Accounting, Auditing, Operations, and Marketing. He was also responsible for managing and developing the financial structure for licensing for worldwide products. Prior to leaving the company, Adolfo served as Licensing Finance and Manager, a position with P&L responsibility for Coca-Colas entire Olympic City during the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
Adolfo describes himself as a creator and has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. Therefore, in 1997, he decided to make the jump from corporate America to small business owner, which led to a very successful career in real estate. His firm, Peoples Realty, was the first Hispanic-owned real estate company in Georgia. He also established World Mortgage, the first Hispanic-owned mortgage company in Georgia. With his success in the real estate arena, he was recruited by
HomeBanc Mortgage Corp
. to serve as Operations Manager for the new HomeBanc en Espaol division.
Among other businesses that Adolfo has founded and managed, he has exported military supplies to the Colombian government (please note, this never included weapons) and with his accounting background, he developed a tax practice of over 1500 clients which was recently sold to Grace Williams CPA, a very successful Hispanic tax service firm in Atlanta. Adolfo also has franchise experience, having set up and managed a
Legacy Academy for Children
in Gwinnett.
After being an entrepreneur for many years, Adolfo was recruited by

Small Business Development Center
, an arm of the
Small Business Administration (SBA)
, where he worked as a business consultant and created and delivered several successful courses and seminars for small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. While Adolfo continues to work closely with Georgia State University, he has recently started another firm,
Solution Consultants International
, which provides advice to small businesses in operations, accounting, marketing, human resources and public relations.
Adolfo is a native of Venezuela yet most of his family is from Colombia. He moved to Atlanta in 1979 and received a BS in Behavioral Science and an MS in Human Resource Management and Development from National Louis University.
Kristin W. Diver
Kristin has over ten years of business experience in operations, human resources, marketing and PR. She rose from graduate student assistant to Assistant Director of the
Economic Forecasting Center
at the
Robinson College of Business
at
Georgia State University
, an organization founded by Prof. Donald Ratacjack in 1973. Under the supervision of the current director,
Prof. Rajeev Dhawan
, she managed the Center's resources, superivsed the production of the Center's quarterly forcast reports, coordinated quarterly conferences and events, and gave speeches on Georgia economy to local business groups. During her six-year tenure at the Center, she specialized in the local Georgia and Atlanta economy, collecting, analyzing a
nd writing the entire Forecast of Georgia and Atlanta report.
While completing her MBA, Kristin free-lanced as a Spanish Medical and Legal Interpreter, spending time in court and at hospitals interpreting and translating for limited-English proficient clients. She served on the board of the Medical Interpreter Network of Georgia (
MING
) for over three years and helped organize their annual Fall Forums.
Prior to joining the Center, Kristin worked in international business for three years at BioLab, Inc, (now
Chemtura
), a pool chemical manufacturer with sales in Latin America, Europe and the Middle East. As a Business Analyst for the international division, Kristin was reponsible for troubleshooting shipping and order issues with foreign clients.
A graduate of Emory University with a B.A. in International Relations and German, Ms. Diver also received her MBA in International Business and Marketing from Georgia State University. She was raised in Puerto Rico, has lived in Europe for two years and is fluent in Spanish, French and German.
